From a methods paragraph to a lab that remembers
Ingest, configure, execute, diagnose, export — an active assistant on the bench, not a static notebook after the fact.
Step 1 — Ingest & graph
Paste Materials & Methods text or drop a paper screenshot. OCR and the compiler turn it into an executable DAG. Templates live in a dedicated Protocol Library tab — not mixed into experiment logs.
qPCR, Western blot, biofilm, ELISA, Bradford, TCID50, plaque.
Step 2 — Pre-run setup
Dragging a protocol onto the canvas pauses on a setup modal. Set sample count, replicates, plate format, and pipetting margins before anyone starts the first incubation.
24 samples × 3 replicates · +10% overage · 96-well.
Step 3 — Execute with modular tools
Follow the Discord-style bench. + Add Tool on any step for a countdown timer, dynamic media-prep card (LB / agar masses recalc with volume), or a dilution calculator. The ChatBar scales master mix and troubleshoots in place.
+ Add Timer · + Add Calculator · media prep scaling.
Step 4 — Triage & diagnose
Photograph smeared gels, blank blots, or instrument error codes in the Live Demo. The dedicated workspace Diagnostics copilot is coming soon.

Step 5 — Quantify & export
Assay tables and timestamped parameters write into the run log. PDF / Markdown export is live. Lab-wide sharing across seats is coming soon.
