How we handle lab data

Unpublished science stays unpublished. For every data privacy and security inquiry, write to ProtocolOSAIAssistant@gmail.com.

What this policy covers

ProtocolOS is an AI lab assistant for wet-lab scientists. This page explains how we treat unpublished protocols, images, instrument logs, and contact details you share with us — including through the contact form and native workspace session on this host.

Unpublished science

We do not train foundation models on customer protocols, gels, or notebooks. Pilot inquiries and workspace data are used only to operate the product you asked for. Raw lab materials are never pooled across labs.

Contact and account details

When you email us or submit the contact form, we receive the name, institutional email, lab role, and message you provide so we can reply. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, that provider sends us your name, email, and avatar so we can create your ProtocolOS profile. Cloud lab data is stored in our hosted database under your account. Demo or native-only sessions may also keep a profile in a cookie and local storage on this host.

Data privacy and security inquiries

Questions about access, deletion, retention, DPAs, or research integrity should go to the official support address below. We treat those requests as confidential lab correspondence.
